“Borges and Texas,” the tribute that Casa Cultural de las Americas pays in Houston to the great author Jorge Luis Borges, is possible thanks to the support and collaboration of people and companies committed to our culture and interested in keeping alive the memory and work of our most important artistic references.

1. Family name or company logo in perpetuity on the statue's commemorative plaque as the Exclusive Sponsor.
The honorific bust of Jorge Luis Borges will be on display at the Fondren Library of Rice University from November 2023 to May 2024. Afterwards, the statue will be moved to the Houston Public Library where it will be appreciated by the people of our city through the years. The name or logo of the Exclusive Sponsor will be on the bronze plaque on the pedestal of the statue as its exclusive patron and donor.
2. An exclusive "Borges and Texas" collector’s artwork of your choice, with its certificate of authenticity.
The collectible artwork exhibited at the event will be created by selected and talented contemporary artists from Texas. The selection of the artists and curatorship of the exhibition has the collaboration of ALMAAHH, the prestigious cultural organization that advocates for the Museum of Latin American Art of Houston. The Exclusive Sponsor will have the opportunity to select and take home one of these works at the private gala preview before the exhibition opens to the general guests.
3. Family name or company logo on the catalog, website, and all the promotional campaigns of “Borges and Texas.”
“Borges and Texas” will be widely promoted and publicized in the media. Also, the event will include a high-quality catalog that will showcase the honorific bust of Jorge Luis Borges, the works of art of the exhibition, the details of the conference, and all the concepts behind this memorable tribute to the great author. 4. Honorary lunch for 2 guests with the keynote speakers and artists.
The Exclusive Sponsor of “Borges and Texas” will have the opportunity to meet and talk to the speakers and selected artists at a cozy lunch specially offered by Casa Cultural de las Americas the day after the event, November 30th, 2023.
