Specially selected Texas artists will be exhibited and offered for sale during the day of the event. These three-dimensional, exclusive collectible works, made from the figure of Borges, will reflect the view of our contemporary artists on the infinite Borgean universe, creating an intimate bond between literature and visual arts.

Miguel Ávila is a Mexican artist based in southwest Houston. Working primarily with acrylics and graphite, his figurative drawings and paintings are inspired by his cultural background, dreamscapes, colors, and his experiences growing up in a modern and vibrant city like Monterrey. His formal training is in architecture and, in addition to art, he works as a graphic and brand designer. Ávila's artwork has been exhibited and collected in Mexico, the United States and Europe.

Andres Bardon, artist, graphic designer, and expert in the history and sociology of art, has more than 25 years of experience in the international art scene. As an artist, he works under the Essentialism style, created by Heriberto Zorrilla. He was the Founder and Director of Arteclasica Contemporanea, one of the most important art fairs in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For more than 15 years, he has promoted and represented world-renowned Argentine artists.

Susan Budge is an American ceramic sculptor who was born in Midland, Texas. She received a BFA in ceramics from Texas Tech University in 1983, an MA from the University of Houston in 1987, and an MFA from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1999. She taught at San Jacinto College in Houston, San Antonio College, and the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she became a tenured full professor and Head of Ceramics.

Kelley Devine is a Houston-based fine artist who works in a variety of media to explore issues of society and self. Kelley worked for the Houston Arts Alliance, managing special projects, before becoming a full-time artist.

Hank Waddell creates art and sculptural furniture primarily from fallen trees. As a boy, he developed a deep connection with nature wandering the pine forests of East Texas. He climbed the trees, built forts from downed limbs, and bathed in the serenity of the old pines. Here, he learned to listen to trees and to take in their beauty, and it was here that he began his lifelong passion for crafting wood.
